I was in Canada the past week for the Caribana Festival,
and who do I see performing with a hip-hop group named
"The C.O.R.E."?

None other than Damon From New Power Generation.
They were at the Joker Night Club with Kevin Garnett,
Shaquille O'neil, Eddie Griffin, you name it, they were there,
and they also performed at Sunrise Records.

The group is really good and as usual Damon can groove.
They were out there promoting their new "mine" EP.

For booking info the promo card said to call 612-869-5982 and thats in Minnesota.

It was a really good show and we were hoping to get a glimpse of Prince. Damon told us this group is recording out of Flyte Tyme, Jimmy and Terry's spot and their producer is one of the engineers from Flyte Tyme. They called him X-man. Dont know what it stands for.

But anyway, Damon said they will be at MN state fair and hopefully soon they will be signed to a contract. Damon was nice at the celebration, but he was so nice this time too. Prince should have kept him around. He has a lot of pressence and can brinng more to a stage than Geneva. Or better yet, why not have both! One for the men and one for the women.
