In my local library, there is a book by rock critic, Robert Christgau.

The title of the book is, Grown Up All Wrong, and has 2 articles about Prince:

one deals with the Purple Rain album, and the other is about his 100 million deal in 92, plus a maddening review of his album of that same year.

If you can find the book give it a read. It is refreshing to see a rock critic spend this much time on one artist.

Even Elvis only got one article.
