Warner wants attention...Since they don't have Prince anymore, they have to do something that stupid to be seen and heard!

Get used to it!!! They will always use Prince's name to get some advertising, no matter what they say about him...

Go on Warner, show us how much you miss Prince!

Ha Haaa. Now, that's some funny shit right there. Warners is trying to gain attention by making fun of Prince?

Prince? They're using Prince to get some advertising?

Are you serious?

Of course I am!
Why didn't they use someone else's name? Why did it have to be Prince's, Can't you see? It Warner & Prince. That's what they want...Many people will in fact buy the stupid t-shirt due to this "silly ad" of warner or don't they want to sell them?

Fully agree! Nothing against Seal but...How stupid can they be?

I can't even begin to comprehend how pissed off the NPGMC Fams are going to get over this!

BTW, a little bit down on that page, they refer to Seal as a "pop legend". Legend?!? While Prince is just "Prince"? I consider that to be more of a slap in the face than the t-shirt comment!

If Princes ego is still working, and lets face it it still is , it'll be good to see what he hits back with on NPGMC.

NPGMC is not releasing more music or videos today than WB used too, if anything with all the side projects WB released more.
P always complained about how long it took to put things out (3 chains of gold video over a year after the related album) but NPGMC announced ONA Live in July 02 and we received it over 6 month later? and dont hold your breath for the chocolate factory.
God knows i love his music but he is a terible marketer, constantly over promising (7 cd's at your door steps) and under delivering when it comes to cd's and video.
of course i'm pissed, but these are just facts.
he complained and delivered for a full year of the NPGMC year 1, since then it's excuses, words, announcements and not much (chocolate invasion, 7 cd's, purple symbol guitar, sample cd's, just to name a few).
If it wasn't for his concert, he'd be an all talk but no action guy. i wish i didn't think so and i look forward to someone convincing me that i shouldnt be disapointed.

I can't believe that people are getting so worked up over this. its just a silly little joke. Since P had such a public fued, that's what makes the whole thing rather amusing. I personally think that WB has their heads up their collective ass, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a cute joke. Even Prince took the whole thing in stride with his silly response. Just because you're a fan doesn't mean you have to get your panties in a bunch everytime someone makes fun of him. He's a musician, not your mama. No need to defend his honour.

YES YES Y'ALL smile ~I'm sure WARNER BROS. took the comment down b/c of emails such as the one I SENT TO THEM on Sunday Jan.4. Here is what i wrote to them...

"Hello~ to whomever wrote the following comment for your site...

"NUDITY IS OUT OF STYLE
Really, it’s so 2002. If you were thinking of giving the gift of nakedness this year, forget it. Instead, give the gift of half-dressedness with the Warner Bros. Records T-shirt and tank top. They’re stylish, well-made, and very useful. It’s the kind of gift that never gets old. Hell, we send one to Prince every year. Click here."

Really that comment was uncalled for...I like Prince very much, his naked ass and all. He is very "Lovesexy"! He is neither old or out of style; he still looks great and nowhere near 45 yrs. old. wink I give much props to a guy who is 45 and can still hold it down! That also goes for Michael Jackson and Madonna. They were all born in 1958.
Maybe your comment was meant to be a joke, but those t shirts are only for women. Just be careful what you say about a "Prince" with such a large fan base, it could cause you to lose several customers. Customers that would love to buy the Prince projects that you still own, such as the re-release of Purple Rain Special Edition on dvd, plus others. Check out the comments on this website... http://www.prince.org/msg/5001/74926
Thank you and happy new year, Allison (Houston, TX)"

Yeah i sent them the link to this forum so they'd see what it had caused. I guess they figured i was right~they probably don't wanna have to deal with a whole mob of Prince supporters smile I simply sent an email to their address provided to ask@warnerreprise.com but no one emailed me back..hmmm...maybe b/c Actions speak louder than words

There's an old Hollywood adage, "No publicity is bad publicity." Doesn't matter who struck 1st, it's about how many people you can get to talk about it. Getting a reaction...cuz WB will always be able to associate themselves w/Prince. Period.

Now, can we discuss Andre 3000 and his almost Bambi-era doo? Love it!
