Ani Difranco will not be performing tonight on the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. it was cancelled because the show would not allow her to play the song "Subdivision" from her latest album, even though that was the song they previously oked and she was scheduled to perform. They requested she play another song, but when you are FREE, you don't have to answer to anyone but yourself....ahhh independence! AHHH CONTROVERSY!
