(Tuesday Night)

I went to the show last night, left early. So this will be a quick brief report
(unless someone sends in a more detailed one).

The Fonky Baldheads opened the show.

Then the Time. The Time is sounding really good these days. The played
the same songs but seemed way more energetic. Morris thanked Prince for
getting them started. He invited Prince and Terry Lewis up on the stage
for ? (I don't recall which one but....I know 777-9311 was the next song
and Prince and Terry Left). Prince played keys, Terry was on base. Prince
sang a few lyrics.

Then during the time show, George Clinton wanders on the stage (yes I mean
wanders). I guess the previous night Prince joked about George Clinton
eating all the food back stage. George was a trip. He started making
this song about a booty. He was using some lines from his previous
tunes. But he couldn't get off the booty! At one point he was leaving the
stage and he said the reason why was because no one was showing their
booty! Then Jerome told everyone to show their booty, and he bent over
showing everyone his but. It was funny cause the whole front part of the
crowd bent over and showed George Clinton. George smiled and came back to
sing more. I mean it was booty this, booty that. I would say it was
overall a booty night!

I left at 1:00 am. I hear Maceo Parker played starting at 2:30pm. I have
no details on what happened after that.

BTW can someone tell Paisley the make shift parking lot across Audubon
needs some signs at the entrance. When I left a car was blocking the
driveway! They should have signs that say, "Parking Lot Entrance, Do Not
Block." I almost had to interrupted the show to get this idiot to move his
car (I ended up squeezing through, it looks like other cars did and
scrapped this fools car in the process).

And one more thing. People drive safe. I had an idiot in a white van
almost run me off the road near Paisley Park. How sad it is to see people
not thinking about their safety and those around them. Be careful!
