1st off let me start off with 2 very important things.

1st i must thank everyone that hung out with me and Mrs. Habibi at the Celebration.. GOLDNIGGA2000, LIVEWIRE, MATT [atlantahatman] JAMES, VIKKI & TONY aka IMMAYTE1, 7KISSESU [which i still have 2 give U that cd], The couple from MARYLAND that gave so much luv at the discussion, EVERYONE that I GAVE A FREE CDR 2, and anyone else that i left out that i met in UPTOWN much luv 2 U as U showed me much luv in return.

2nd IF U"RE NOT PART OF THE NPG MUSIC CLUB U MUST JOIN RIGHT NOW!!!! Those that attended the celebration that R not know exactly what i'm speaking of.

O.K now that that's out of the way my 4 days in MPLS was the best weekend of my life. Compared 2 last year i had WAAAAAY more fun and being a NPGMC member had a lot 2 do with it.

Due 2 the numerous reports that i'm sure u've read i'm not going in2 2 much detail. But i will say what i have 2 say as a PRINCE FAN/ASSKISSER or what ever U may call me. On SATURDAY June 17th during the discussion i personally got 2 thank PRINCE 4 the positive influence that he's had on my life. Any1 that was there i was the yella brotha with the NPG hat on sittin on the floor with the pillow in front of the PRINCE and the fine sista with braids aka Mrs. Habibi. Prince gladly accepted the thank U and on my way back 2 my hotel i FREAKED OUT!!

As far as the concert on JUNE 15th..i must say i was a bit disappointed that it was the same HIT N RUN show. The soundcheck was cool 2 me because that was my 1st time xperiencing it.1 thing that sticks out is the look on AAAALLLL of those peoples face that wasn't members of the NPGMC when they let US in early. I walked past with my celebration laminate in hand flashin it at the stairway full of people with the ICE CUBE face, with a sly grin on my face mouthing the words JOIN THE CLUB..let's just say ask PPK how many joined after THE CELEBRATION this year.

Nightly parties were cool... yet i must say that DJ DUDLEY D of the FONKY BALL HEADS... needs 2 stick 2 his day job because as a DJ... he wasn't cuttin it.I use 2 house dance in the clubs in high school and i really wanted 2 show PPK that i can freak it but the music wasn't helping me out at all. BOBBY is really the only one that motivated me 2 dance in the NPG circle... i was the brotha with the BLUE and TAN dragon button downs with shirt tied around my waist.

THE RAINBOW CHILDREN... was officially the best work done in an entirety from PRINCE since THE GOLD EXPERIENCE. I made the mistake of reading post of it on here b 4 i went up there and i walked away with a TOTALLY different opinion of the cd the n e other i've seen on here. It seems 2 me that some on PRINCE.ORG is making a big deal out of nothing. Those of U that have said that PRINCE HAS LOST IT or PRINCE IS TRUELY GONE NOW will definitely eat u're words if U were 2 ever sit down and listen 2 this work all the way through.

THE RAINBOW CHILDREN is a story... from beginning 2 end. When I listened 2 it... i got lost in PRINCE'S imagination as i 1nce did with SIGN O THE TIMES/ LOVESEXY. The road that THE RAINBOW CHILDREN takes U down when U listen 2 it is a reflective road, not of religion , not of PRINCE'S INSANITY but a reflective road of U'RESELF, and how U view it as a piece of work is a reflection of how U view u'reself. U can sit there and call me what U want and say this and that and even make the nastiest post under this but it won't affect me. The way U view THE RAINBOW CHILDREN is the same way the mirror that u look in views U, so if u think IT SUCKS, or if U think that " it's 2 heavy"... look deep down at u'reself and why U may say that about it. I love this cd... once again PRINCE is challenging our mind, soul and spirit.. the same way he did back in 81 with CONTROVERSY... the same effect that that piece of work had on his fans and the media... THE RAINBOW CHILDREN is gonna have on his fans and the media... it's just that THIS time... PRINCE isn't doing it 4 attention. i repeat PRINCE DIDN"T MAKE THIS CD 4 ATTENTION... from PRINCE fans or the media , this was done because this is what he WANTED!!

During the discussion of the CD people definitely questioned PRINCE and tested the purple water if U will and PRINCE held his own. I did not expect 2 see PRINCE directly address questions from us with out a blink. I thought he would swindle his way out of it somehow. But no... he answered everything, even questions of his marriage and other very sensitive subjects with confidence and certainty. He made PERFECT sense 2 me and if he is crazy then i must be on the same crazy cloud with him because after i heard the cd i recalled everything that i'd read here about it and really couldn't figure out the fuss. THE RAINBOW CHILDREN IS NOT 4 EVERY PRINCE FAN!! i see this, along with the NPG Music Club as PRINCE'S way of seeing who's with him, and who's not. PRINCE draws the line in the sand now and i get the feeling that he's leaving the decision 2 US 2 decide if we will walk across it as he's done MANY times in the past. All i know is that i'm steppin cross dat joint with confidence now, and like him, not worrying about how many others cross it with me. Even 2 the point where i'm gonna end this here and leave the true details 2 the NuPowarGnaratn that i emale my info 2 personally... if u'd like a copy simply hit my mialbox up... if not... i don't think my experience of THE CELEBRATION would change u're mind about the way U see PRINCE, THE RAINBOW CHILDREN CD, or even.... U'reself.
