CONCERT AT THE EXCEL CENTER ON THE 16TH

I was unable to attend the celebration during the week, but, I did get to go to the Saturday concert. Floating 10 feet above the ground with anticipation of the concert, we arrived, and it didn't bother me that it started a little late. That's what I like about this man, Prince, he is a perfectionist. I admire his strength, and at the same time, his sensitivity. To see such a diverse crowd gathered to experience Prince and NPG, is a true, beautiful thing! He draws us all together, touching us with his messages about life, love, spirituality, and most of all, Love4OneAnother! This concert, or any other one, has never dissapointed me. The energy, the love, the talents, the music, are just all there. I believe he was really feeling the love as well. I never get tired of hearing any of the old, and look forward to the new. I only wish I could have been at Friday's concert. I understand that it is similar in flavor to LOVESEXY, and that is probably my favorite album. Yes, I'm a Long Time Fam! Thank you Prince, NPG, and the Fonky Baldheads, for yet another night of bliss! It will take me a week to come down from listening to so many favorites like, Joy in Repetition, Purple Rain, Take Me With You, Housequake, Dorothy Parker, Kiss, You Got the Look, and so much more. Just couldn't stop dancin! Later they announced a party at PP, by the time I got there it looked impossible to get in. Everyone just didn't get enough of this wonderful night! Let's respect Prince for whatever his beliefs may be. The music is always good! If only we could just look at each others hearts, judging only are character, not the outside package, and except each other as an individual. Listen to the music, feel the love, let Prince be FREE!
