There's an interesting article in the Cultural Spupplement of the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant today. It uses the 'Prince's joing the Jehovas' story in Gotham as an angle to write about various well know people joining sects and religious groups.

It also quotes a Dutch proffesor (G. van Tilo, University of Amsterdam) who says that famous people join these groups cause they can't handle the fact that people look at them as some kind of Jesus.

Another proffesor (Ter Borg from the University of Leiden) thinks that Prince's recent step is just a temporary move "cause there's a big difference between what The Jehovas think is right and the things Prince does and say".
