Prince postpones Toronto show

Prince's purple reign in Toronto has been postponed.

The pint-sized potentate of funk has nixed plans for his scheduled July 7 performance at the Air Canada Centre, concert promoters House Of Blues announced Tuesday.

Tickets were scheduled to go on sale June 15 for what has been dubbed the "Celebration" tour. The press release announcing the tour was sent out June 7.

Prince also has scheduled concerts in Saskatoon on July 3, Winnipeg July 4, Montreal July 6, Edmonton July 26, and Vancouver July 28, but there was no immediate official word on whether those shows would likewise be delayed. (More on Prince)
