Well Day One of the celebration was a short day but a intresting one full of weird and normal paisley park activity...my cuz n me first got there around 3:30pm(we had to work,DAMN) so we missed all the days events,but when we arrived we came across workers breaking down stands/booths outside in the parking lot and moving the stuff inside...so me n my cuz looked around while the madness was going on. I first noticed a SWEET CORN stand, sweet corn? Did I take a wrong turn and end up at the Minnesota State Fair? Guess not, so we looked around more and saw the famous VEGGIE BURGER stand from last year, ummmm yum! Then one of the workers was freaking out about the stuff outside cuz of the huge storm coming, and asked us if we can collect our passes inside so we follwed her in. But as we walk in, I notice a man standing on the left of me, looking like Kevin Smith(Clerks,Dogma,Chasing Amy)he didnt say much(like in his movies) but I still wonder if that was him or not, he smiled and gave us a "i want you in my next film look" so i said whats up and walked on, my cuz and me still wonder if that was him or just a wannabe look-a-like? Anyway we get in the easy security of Paisley Park, and opps i run into K.J holding a chair and some other items, opps my bad! Then thought to myself damn thats gotta suck going from drummer to chair holder/change-over crew/fonky baldheads...DAMN THATS COLD P! Then thoughts of M.Bland came to mind, ahhhhh those days i miss. So we walk into the store which was cleaned out of shirts, some cd singles were 4 sale like "supercute" and "daisy chain" going for $5 each...the store was a mess, and the lady behind the counter looked lost, damn whatever happened to that fly cute shopgirl who used to work there during the friday night parties and last years celebration, COME BACK! Anyway we sat there and waited as they scrambled looking for our passes, 10 minutes later they arrive! By this time I am kinda pissed wasting time, then a mysertious lady walks up and tells us Prince and Amel are in the soundstage playing, so we go of course! By the time we walk in and soak the atmosphere, Prince is on the mic saying thank you and see you tonight! DAMN! Spent all that time in the damn shop while they were playing, DAMN paisley workers! So we walk around and look at all the people. One lady is yelling out "Chicago,Chicago!" so of course I had to rep and yell "Northside!" People gathered in there clicks and started towards the exit. Until we got attacked from a boy and a girl, about 5 feet tall, with trailer home park teeth, dressed in bed sheets decorated with marker. They walked right in front of me and started to smile, I had to hold back cuz I slow down on yellow lights, and the girl is yelling "Happy Prince Day" and the boyfriend is talking about how hes in "Purple Paisley Heaven" and talking all weird about how this is his religion!?! I was about to call the security to help Prince from these physcos! But SIMS security walked in and told everyone to get out! So we snuck by SIMS and walked into the L4OA room and saw the NPG MUSIC CLUB setup on PC's,it had all the extras and everything, so I listened to a track called "Northside"(of course, big ups to W.Broadway/Camden/Jordan,what-what!) and it was alright but couldnt hear it so well since security found us and was yelling in our ear to GET OUT! So we bounced through the people in the lobby and ran out before the prince.org people snatched me up(HAHA-J/K) So we left the parking lot and into the street where we were greated by a little rain and lots n lots of lighting and thunder,thunder of this girls booty i saw get into a car across the street! "Hey Shorty!" Damn game was weak today, so we walked back to the car and drove off beating some "Dirty Mind" hoping that "Rainbow Children" will be close to that album. So all in all it was a normal day at paisley.....
