" The Minneapolis Rush: It's On!!!" as " The Upper Room with Joe Kelley" hosts it's LIVE Minneapolis Music Special this Monday June 4th from 4pm-8pm EST on 88.5 WVOF in Fairfield, CT. This always popular special will feature talented musicians and producers from Minneapolis. Also, the show will cover the spectrum of MPLS music from today and years past.

Confirmed special guests include JELLYBEAN JOHNSON who is the talented drummer for the Time, stellar guitarist, and top-notch producer for acts such as Ronnie Baker Brooks, Nona Hendryx, Mint Condition, and Janet Jackson. KIRK JOHNSON, who is the multi-talented producer, drummer, and percussionist for the Fonky Bald Heads will also stop by. Both the Time and the Fonky Bald Heads will be performing at the "Prince: A Celebration- The Rainbow Children" this June in Minnesota. Also, JACQUI THOMPSON, who is the executive producer of "Unsigned" Twin Cities, will appear and discuss an exciting new project which showcases many of the new musicians out of the Minneapolis area. In addition, TORI RUFFIN, the incredible guitarist for the Time and his own solo project, Freakjuice. Tori Ruffin has written songs and recorded with Cree Summer, Me'shell Ndegeocello, and Shalamar
