There is a nice article about Prince and the recording of "Kiss" in the latest (June 2001) Mix Magazine. If you have never heard of it, Mix Magazine is a recording industry magazine for recording studios, engineers and producers.

The article is starts on page 178. There is an interview with David Z about the recording and mixing of the song.

It is one of the very few articles where they do not make fun of Prince at all.

There is some good stuff in the article... most of us already know it, but it is still cool to see.
