PA concert grosses reported in Amusement Business

In the April 30, 2001 issue of Amusement Business (industry trade magazine for amusement parks, carnivals, fairs, arenas, etc.) there is a Prince report in the Boxscore. The Boxscore lists the reported top concert grosses for the week ending April 24. Prince is number 8 after concerts by Elton John/Billy Joel $1,838,737 at number 1 and number 7 matchbox twenty at $367,273.

There is a small mention of Prince beginning the 2001 version of his Hit n' Run Tour in mid-April. "The first reported show from this leg of the tour comes from First Union Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Charting in the top 10 this week, the artist formerly known as The Artist played to a sellout crowd at the arena, with tickets ranging from $31 to $76. Opening the night was the Minneapolis R&B/rap group Fonky Bald Heads."

Prince's actual concert grosses (as reported) from the Wilkes-Barre concert were $366,685. I do not know who reports the grosses (the artist, the promoter, the venue??). The Wilkes-Barre concert, April 19, was promoted by Impact 3 and was a sellout with 6,332 tickets sold.
