Just went to the concert in oaktown, and i'll have to say it was rather weak compared to the san jose show in december. i've seen him about 10 times and it seemed to me that he just didn't have his full heart into it this time, like no real encore. the show was only 1 hour 40 min. long. the highlight for me (and possibly him) was The Beautiful Ones. thought maybe he was/is under the weather, or his ankle still bothers him. anyway, he's the best there ever was and will be, and just to see him on stage is good enough for me.



[I think he was skedaddlin' to get over to the Fillmore... but you're right, it seemed short. A bit pricey, for that duration, I think. He planned on going on at 10:20, and basically did, but he also probably knew about any curfews when he planned that. Fonky Baldheads were good though! They are a good addition, IMO. -Ben]
