Hi People. Thought I'd send in a report for the San Diego Hit and Run Concert. We got there around 8 pm and it was pretty chaotic outside.


We saw these people pull up in a limo blasting Do Me Baby. We had to get in a long line to pick up our tickets. I had fun looking at all the funky people. Just as I was trying to put condiments on my hotdog I heard people screaming so we went inside.


There was a recording of "Don't worry, I won't hurt you, I only want you to have some fun..." Prince came out and he said that we were about to have the best time of our life. The first song was Uptown. New songs included The Work and You Make My Sun Shine. Most of the songs were old favorites including The Beautiful Ones(during which he laid on the floor like in Purple Rain), Kiss, Daring Nicki(featuring Geneva in her schoolgirl outfit), Purple Rain, The Balad of Dorothy Parker, Cream, Scandalous. Geneva accompanied him with her dancing and Najee was featured on sax. People were brought onstage to dance. There were two oncores. To bring him out for a second time there was thundering applause.


The official afterparty was held at Canz Nightclub at Mission Beach.


There was no show but he did make an appearance and shook some hands.
