2nd report from Denver Hit n Run

First of all, props to the NPG for giving me the royal treatment as a premier member - they DID get my back:

a - I got front row seats in the center section because I could buy tickets a day early.

b - I didn't have to wait in a long will call line because the VIP ticket holders had their own short line.

c - My girlfriend and I got into the after party for FREE because I was on the guest list.

Joining the club was THE BEST $100 I ever spent! Everyone I knew in Denver who was a member got the same treatment. So you few nay Sayers out there: I DO NOT feel your pain!

Second - The security guys worked very hard at keeping the out of control drunk freaks from crashing the party up front - great job guys!

Last but NOT least - Prince carried MY seven year old daughter (Madison) across the stage! It was HER first show, so she was a little shy and overwhelmed - but she got to dance on stage and meet the man! WOW! I have to get the video - so NPG let me know when the Denver video goes on sale and I will be the first to buy it! I should also note my 13-year-old son, Tyler, finally got to shake Prince's hand.

Of course, the show was awesome - almost exactly the same as the Chicago show I saw last November, with The Work and You Make My Sunshine being great additions. I brought my girlfriend Rachel to the show - and it was her first time (thanks for all of the romantic ballads, Prince). She was so impressed with how gracious, talented and Christian Prince was. She said that she loved his "beautiful hands". That's the first time I have heard that one, but we all see beauty in our own way. Apparently there were a lot of first timers there besides her who are now on their way to becoming "fams".

By the way Prince - I would be happy to join ANOTHER bible study group - so let me know when you want to get together ; ). I may be able to get you into one of mine if you can make it out to Denver on a weekly basis!

It was great seeing my fellow Denver "fams" at the show - thanks for stopping by the front and saying "hello" guys. We will have to get together again for another party. Email or call me anytime.

Thank you Millennia, Fonky Bald Heads, the NPG and Prince for another unforgettable night.
