Prince Arrives In Melbourne

Prince flew into Melbourne International Airport at 6:20 AM this morning (Sunday 19 October) on a Qantas flight direct from Hong Kong. He was accompanied by his wife and looked very snappy in suit and sunglasses.
A small number of fans were waiting for him, but no news crews we present.

Cue "He can't even pull them in at the airport, like he used to", jibes.

Maybe he should fly into smaller airports.

lol

The dude is staying at my house.

I'm all out of damn tofu!! mad

I let Larry sleep in the back shed with the dogs.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

This story isn't correct, he arrived with the band a day before. He was already the 18th already in Melbourne.

LOL nevermind, this isn't really important smile

what's the use of news crew when you sold out your tour in 20 minutes!!!

To simply report on his arrival? We certainly have enough news on the royal family here while people that actually ARE somebody in this life are ignored. So I don't see why not. It would also put his name out there in the public, causing the mildly curious to check out some of his work and what he's about. Publicity is good any which way u slice it.

I'm in Melbourne from Perth (5 hour flight away) and had no way of accessing the information to know where and when he was arriving. Had I had that information I would have been there to see him as he arrived.
Seeing this in a positive light though: I hope it helps him and his group have a relaxing time while here. SO much so that he comes back again...and again...and then even over to Perth some time.

I guess selling out three stadiums in 20 minutes isn't really important to org members. Let them tell it Prince is ready to live on skidrow

To continue on this bit of triva... This would mean they left right after the aftershow in the edge? Straigt to the airport from there... really?

When he got here doesn't really matter to me ...

I have arranged for the weather to be cold and terrible while he is here anyway - as long as he brings that silly twit wife with him wherever he goes and is afraid to call the person he came to Melbourne for - there will be rain and much cloudiness.

So far things are going according to plan.

There has been rain and much cloudiness.

Don't be surprised if it rains so hard on the night of his first show that the roof of the the Rod Laver arena sounds like a bomb hit it and drowns out the music.
