Prince mention in Rocky Mountain News (Denver)

Prince making way to Denver

April 11, 2001

By News Staff

The artist we're again allowed to call Prince is back at it. His Hit and Run tour, which skipped Denver late last year, is back on the road, with a show announced for April 24 at DU's Magness Arena.

As far as anyone can tell, Prince doesn't have a new album coming out, though a new single, The Work -- Part 1, is being released through Napster. In addition, he's set up the NPG Music Club at his Web site, www.love4oneanother.com. For $100 a year, fans will get exclusive songs, videos and access to the best tickets.

Tickets for the April 24 show go on sale Saturday at noon through Ticketmaster (though fans can avoid service charges by buying through the Magness Arena box office). VIP tickets are available online only at $88.50 each, and can be picked up only at will-call the day of the show. Other tickets are available by phone and at outlets, priced at $78.50 and $53.50. The limit is four tickets per person.
