BBC World (http://www.bbcworld.com/) is currently rebroadcasting the excellent BBC series on the history of music: "Dancing In The Street -- A Rock And Roll History".



This week they're broadcasting episode 9, "Make It Funky", which traces the origin of funk and features of course Sly And The Family Stone (and in particular Larry Graham) and Alan Leeds.



Episode 10, "Planet Rock", to be broadcasted from next weekend, features Prince (though only briefly).
