From the News Desk

Hey family!

Just wanted to let you know that I have been BUSY, and haven't been able to update the news items 3 times a day. Prince.org gets allot of email, and it takes time for us to get the posts up on the site. Sorry if you don't think it's "acceptable". LOL! Is once a week too slow?!? (just kidding)

Oh, and let me address another issue which started a nasty rumor lately. (And yes, I am female, a wife, daughter, sister... no question about it!)

The 777 Updates will no longer be posted in their entirety on our news pages. WHY you ask? Because we have a long standing rule not to post other email news updates in their entirety on our new pages. Plain & simple. Unfortunately, this became an issue to Jeremy since he was able to get a few issues out before we realized it and let him know. Sorry Jeremy. We have told him he can continue to send those items to the PPML, our online/email forum, at http://www.prince.org/ppml/

All topics and commentary are encouraged there, and with over 3000 subscribers, the discussions can be pretty heated.
It is unfortunate that Jeremy chose to "slam" us in his email list, rather than take us up on the offer and understand.

Hmmm.. and lastly.

The rumor about our site being "edited" to comply with NPG Online or "foster a better relationship" is just plain bogus.

Some of you (who may not have been around then) don't know that we have had a long-standing relationship with the old 'love4oneanother.com' website, and that the first incarnation of that site was on our servers (togdog.com).

We do know the folks who created that site and NPGOnline. While we have a very friendly relationship, we do not always agree on issues they support. We are and will continue to be an independant fan site for the artist Prince.

Hope this clears up our little "controversy". Let's get back to the music.

Cool?

Val Jillian
