Absolutely smart and great that Sheila is doing her own AUCTIONS at her site. Rather than giving a big chunk of the final price percentage to eBay.

It would be great if the highest package would of including the winner to play with the band, like on drums or keyboards, whatever instrument they may know!

Very positive vibe I'm getting from this event. I am saving my coins for it! Prince or no Prince!

If Prince does not show up at Sheila's event, that would be a slap in the face to her considering she showed up at his celebration and held a workshop. Prince knows Sheila was abused as a youth and this project is her top priority. I think he would show up just to sing "Baby, I'm a Star" then leave.

I'm going to see Wendy and Lisa and Jill Jones perform. Prince doesn't have to show and I will still be happy. I'll just be upset for Sheila because I know Prince's no show would hurt her.

But at the same time -- I don't care. I haven't seen Wendy & Lisa since 1986. I've never seen Apollonia. Apollonia and Sheila were my first Latino icons, and the last of my boyhood crushes. Wendy & Lisa were my first gay role models. I've seen Prince plenty, if he can't make it, or chooses not to, that is his decision and I respect it. Either way, this is full circle experience for me, taking the man I am to visit the boy I was. The fact that my money will be used for good works is an added bonus. Can't hardly wait!!!

Yeah, most of these artists are my musical hereos as well. I've seen Wendy & Lisa a bunch of times in the 90's but to see Bobby and Matt and Jill (whom I did meet in 89) and all the others (sans Carmen), will be amazing for me and many others I'm sure.
