Q: Working with Jimmy and Terry on the single, how does the writing experience come to you? How long does it take from point of conception to point of completion?




Janet: It can come just like "that"! For me, Jimmy might say he has an idea for a track, and we’ll sit there and put it together. Then I’ll go home, do a melody and lyrics over a day or two. Then we’ll come back and start recording. It can just take a day to record, then put on the final touches. It all depends on the song actually. But it really doesn’t take that long at all.
