The April 2001 issue of Spin magazine (http://spin.com/) has an article entitled "Teen Dreams" on Wade Robson (Mayte's current boyfriend).



According to them, Mayte and Wade met at the 2000 MTV VMAs. They also mention he's currently writing and producing tracks for her.
