I talked with Epic Records today,with a represenitive for Michael Jackson and an exec for Epic Records and they have both confirmed that both Prince & Michael Jackson have expressed serious interest in recording together in the very near future. In fact, I was told that Michael was supposed to be at the press conference in NY for the debut of Prince's NPG Music Club to show support for Prince and hint that a project may be in the works. Michael could not make it for unspecified reasons.
When asked why Michael Jackson would work with one of his biggest rivals, I was told that he has always respected Prince. Michael Jackson's publicist has been contacted and they are going to submit this to the press so look 4 newz on it in the next few days in the papers. I did not contact npgonline 4 comment on this story cuz if they did respond, it might have already been leaked by somebody else. but since I had at least two people confirm it, I believe it's legitimacy.
