1. They use Paypal (http://Paypal.com/). So what's the problem? Well, several: Paypal doesn't support EuroCard and MasterCard at the moment (and both are rather popular in Europe).



2. And even if you have a "proper credit card" (i.e. Visa), if you're an international user (i.e. a non-USA resident), you have to wait until you see a charge of $1 on your CC bill, which is supposed to have a four digit code. Until you get that code, you cannot activate your Paypal account. Now, it can take up to four business days before these appear on your CC bill. Mind you, plenty of Europeans cannot access their CC statements online and thus have to wait until their monthly bill arrives.



These two problems could have been avoided easily: they could have warned us they were going to use Paypal (so people could have gotten an account in advance), or they could have used http://1800newfunk.com/ to handle the payments.
