Monte Moir - This Side of Paradise

This is Monte Moir’s debut as a vocalist. Does it show? Absolutely not. He hits highs and lows with the experience of a pro. Lyrically it’s a cliché but adult contemporary tends to be like that. You may not have heard of him but you have heard of Morris Day and The Time. Remember the band that Jay and Silent Bob loved? Well he’s a member of that funky band that opened for Prince and had a couple of Purple Rain singles. Monte Moir produced this album himself and that’s where it really shines.
