N.E.W.S. re-entered German album charts at 94

N.E.W.S. re-entered the German album charts at 94. It's only available as an US-import for 18 euro.

Are you not a Prince fan? Surely non-fans posting on the org are more pathetic?

I thinking posting on a regular basis - not being a fan- is far pathetic Bart. Just think - you take time out in your day, regularly, to put something on a site dedicated to someone you clearly dislike.

I have my life to run, work to do, family obligations to fullfill - I can't find each and every day to put a snipe or two against Prince..

Bart you may have written a good book, but keep out of this if you are always on the negative side of things.

N.E.W.S. is an independent jazz release and it is truely a miracle that this record enters the charts here in Germany an even reenters, considering the ads that other artists have to put up to reach the same.

I have read a lot of your posts and see just negative criticism not a constructive point of view.

We all make mistakes in our lifes and take wrong roads...do you remember yours?

If you do then make them publicly know so you can be judged like you judge an artist who did some outstanding things to music history. What are the outstanding achievements that you did for music or any other genre?

Think, u better think...smile

out of interest, how many sales does that indicate then? how many sales do you need to chart in germany? plus, when that sales list was posted not too long ago, it said NEWS sales were around 85k, but cos the figure was exact im assuming the author of that post used soundscan figures, meaning its only USA figures. do you think that its outsold the rainbow children? the figures for that were exact around 130k too so maybe thats only USA. any help?!

trickster

i think it means that they sold around 1000 to 1500 copies per week. so they have sold around 4000 units maybe 5000 in germany since the release... not so bad for the german market and this kind of music if yo ask me...

Didn't David Hasselhoff and Jeniffer Love Hewitt both sell more then a million albums in Germany? 1,500 - 4,000 seems pretty weak when you look at it that way big grin
