The Time in NYC

My man Joe Kelley, his lady and myself checked out the Time last night at B.B.
King's club last night. We were guests of the band and it was a smoking time.
Tori was on point all night, blazing thru guitar solos and riffs like nobody's
business. The group was tight as always, they had the shoe crackling with hot
funk and cool moves. They played all the hits and had the crowd up and cheering
throughout the performance. Morris and Jerome had mad energy and they both
bounced off each other very well.
After the show Tori took us backstage and we met the fellas....everybody was
there, Freeze, Morris, Monte (one really cool dude), Jerome, and of course,
Jellybean, who kept the beat bottom heavy all night. He was fantastic too.
All the guys were down to earth and really cool to talk to. They genuinely
appreciate the support and love that the fans give up for them.
Mad props go out to Tori Ruffin who really looked out for us and hooked us
up...not only did hear tear shit up on his axe (the solo on 777-9311 burned the
house down but he was the coolest cat you'd ever want to meet.
Mad props to Monte as well....a really cool guy and also very friendly. These
guys will be funking for years to come...no samples, no bullshit, all funk,
attitude and MUSICIANSHIP.
