well just got home from the midnight showing of PURPLE RAIN @ the uptown theatre...and its was worth the $7.50, there was no long line or wait and good seating it was about 60% full...there was a small film crew @ the begining and end of the movie n the lobby stalking people n line 2 buy popcorn, but they where cool, they were making a documentry of prince eye guess...as far as the movie itself, it was BOMB! the film looked old and worn but it was cool, who needs george lucas! people sang and danced and clapped along 2 the songs(do eye really need 2 tell u a songlist)...the girls screamed when prince shaked his ass, and creamed when they played darling nikki and the guys where loud when appolinia was naked by lake minnetonka(haha),eye tried 2 take a pic of that scene but was rudely cutoff by my date...booooo!...o'well,people even broke out lighters 4 purple rain, and people where takin pics left n right(only got 1 pic 4 now,others coming soon)...laughter filled the theatre 4 morris,jerome and diffrent bad acting scenes which make the movie a classic,overall it was great the nice people where old,young,and ultra FINE ladies everywhere n the lobby...damn baby wit the long brown hair, whats ur name girl,eye am goin 2 make u luv me!?...it was great seeing purple rain n the theatres again and esp n uptown, hopefully they make this a regular thing....
