Sup Babies!!! Just wanted to let you in on a little impromptu chat we had here last night with Michael Bland. While Michael and I were at a meeting at Atomic K Records, I jumped online to see who was in the chat room. Michael said, "Hey I want to chat with these folks....let them know I'm here and we'll answer some questions." Well the room, which started out with only 3 people, turned into a zoo with over 12 people in there all at once. Not bad for a Wednesday night! I took questions about everything from the Sons of Almighty CD, which MB is putting the final touches on, to when the Sons were going to go on tour, to their website www.sonsofalmighty.com.....and of course the imfamous "Prince" questions which MB answered gracefully! MB thought it was awesome that we were chatting with people from all over the world. He even had to convince one chatter (Raspberry-Kiren) that he was who he was by having her call into the studio to talk to him. She called and we were like is it her??? It was!...so they chatted for a minute and then got off the phone since she was calling from London. That was probably the most awesome thing that happened! MB was giving out his home number and email address to people who were interested in hiring he and Sonny for gigs and session work.....it was an awesome night!


We chatted for about an hour or so and then my poor hands started to feel like they were going to fall off! I want to thank all the people that showed up last night.....CC, Kiren, Deon, LCD, Vampy, Paisley, Memyselfneye, Rid, Rudeboy, Spooky, MinneapolisFunk, Funky's Honey, Liberation....you guys are the best! (if I left anyone out I do apologize....it was not my intention:))
