Despite earlier reports (see below), Rod Stewart's new album "Human", to be released by Atlantic Records (http://www.atlantic-records.com/) on Feb. 6th, 2001 in the US and March 16th, 2001 in Europe (more release dates @ http://www.rodstewartlive...ws1.html), will NOT feature his cover of Prince's "Peach". This is confirmed by the official page on the album at Atlantic Records' website (http://64.12.34.100/frames/artists_music/main.asp?artistID=237) and by Rod Stewart's official site (http://www.rodstewartlive.com/multimedia.html).



However, that doesn't necessarily mean that his version of "Peach" won't see the light of day. According to a rumor on "Smiler - The Official Rod Stewart Fan Club" (http://members.aol.com/smilerfrg/rod/sminfo.htm -- their news is at http://members.aol.com/ro...an2.html), one of the "B-sides" for Rod Stewart's new single is going to be his cover of Prince's "Peach", though this has NOT been confirmed by Stewart's management.
