i got a tip from two people that went to brother jules's cd store and I just
called there. Prince is about to release a new cd on feb. 27th. There is no
Guarantee that it will be released on that day. I am being told to watch
NPGonline for the next two weeks for info on the cd. They would not give me a
title. i called Tower records and they now have in their systems a release
date for a new cd and a greatest hits cd.


I talked with a Rep from Epic monday night and they said that Benny
Medina (head of Epic and former Paisley Employee) was interested in signing
Prince to Epic. Now, as far as i know, Prince has not had any meetings with
Epic. Last time I knew bout Sony/Epic talking to Prince was for distribution
for Rave but he chose Arista cuz they gave him the higher payday. Again, a
New Prince cd is set to drop in Feb. Hope to have more info by Feb. 777
