At the show, there was a company based in Canada that manufactures strong plastic (polymer) dumsticks. John Blackwell is listed as one of the endorders for the sticks. Supposedly I heard from another fan at the show that John was there as well.



On the price list sheet/contact sheet given out it states:
"EMMITe™ Endosers:
John Blackwell, Columbia , SC - Prince (solos only)"




Listed amongs about 30 drummers who use the sticks. Solos only is referring to when the drummer uses them. The company makes a glow in the dark/bluelight version (as well as clear versions) of the sticks so that's most like when he uses them, for solos. I got a pair last year and they are fantastic. Last even when chewed up by cymbal wear.
