Due to the extraordinary response to the Jellybean Johnson interview, I will be airing a Time interview and music marathon. You can hear an interview with Time keyboardist Monte Moir. Monte discusses his upcoming solo album, his musical upbringing, and the early days with the Time and Prince. Next, I will play a talk with Jellybean Johnson the first time he stopped by "The Upper Room". You'll hear Jellybean speak on his drum and guitar playing, the touring experience with the Time and Prince, and I ask him what would have happened if Rick James and Prince collaborated on an album(we have a good laugh). Next, Tori Ruffin, guitarist from the Time and leader of his solo project, Freakjuice, pays a visit. Tori reveals how he joined up with the Time, his work with Freakjuice, and also the whereabouts of Jesse Johnson. Finally, for those that missed it last week, I reair the recent Jellybean Johnson interview that is really cool. Jellybean talks about some of his recent productions and also a tiny glimpse into the new Time album.
