My sister works in corporate sales at one of the larger hotels in downtown Baltimore and she told me that Prince's management company just reserved 3 rooms for Jan 26th (next Friday) because he is slated to play a "surprise" (or very short-notice) concert at the Baltimore Arena that evening. I see no events listed for the Baltimore Arena for that date or the three days previous, but there's no listing on TicketMaster's site (not that there would be since nothing was announced.) Prince has stayed at this hotel before in recent years, so there's no reason for me to doubt that this will happen.



I'm just really, really excited because in November my girlfriend and I had to travel to Northern Virginia to see him on the Hit 'n Run Tour--now it's right downtown! And it's a bigger (MUCH better sounding) venue. If I'd only be lucky enough to score better tickets through TicketMaster this time...
