NME

I posted a couple of weeks ago that i had been told there was a Universal / Prince project for next year, that wasn't the DVD. It's got something to do with David Rifkind (sp), who is related to Bobby Z, therefore had a good enough relationship to seal the deal.

we'll see.

Whether Prince is going to be more commercial or an indie artist-I am glad he is raising his profile. It seems to me that he now realises he can keep integrity and use large companies. Also I think he seems less arsey about things. people have slagged off the NPGMC-but generally it appears that the process has taken a lot longer than Prince thought-only now is he doing what should have been happening by 1999 i.e. low membership fee and general releases to stores. he is appearing more in the open and though he is not number one, media is taking a lot more interest in him. i think he is beginning to learn some balance and to be more objective about where he is at and where he is going and is beginning to understand that he does not have to be on either end of the scale to function as an Artist

I hate you for your gonzo-American attitude, but I gotta admit you're funny.
