Tribune listing his choices of the top summer singles for the past 35 years. He has an excerpt from each song online. Summertime blues and red-hot singles 1984: "When Doves Cry," Prince: Man, what a day the first Tuesday in June was this year, as Prince's Purple Rain and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. albums were released.
