It's not just you - the thing I most liked about Mayte physically was her plentiful ass...and those dreamy thighs o' hers.
It looks like if you banged her now you'd cut yourself on her pelvic bones. Look at the pics of her thighs!! They're so insubstantial it's scary. Mayte is certainly still attractive, but she's a bit over the hill at this point. She peaked in 1994 with the Miami birthday shows...her moves in the video of those shows were unbelievable. But she is probably around 30ish now and already had a baby...she is certainly still pretty but not off the charts hot like she used to be. Plus from jumping from Prince to Tommy Lee, she has shown herself to a bit of a star f'er, which is not particularly endearing.
I still say that in her day, she was the only dancer who could hold her/his own while onstage with Prince. She was really an asset to his band and live show, when all the other dancers have always been a distraction. | |

Tommy Lee was VERY LUCKY to have 15 minutes with this woman.. hopefully, with this ad & whatnot, Mayte can "get on" with her life - HAVE a life of her own & then have a good man who's worthy to be with her IN her life.. Mayte certainly does look a shade on the skinny side these days. I saw her dance for Prince twice at the London shows in March of 95 and she was one of the highlights of the show.
It was obvious from watching the press that came out around Emancipation that Prince was in love with her, and it would seem that since then, he has lost something in his life and it is reflected in his music. When we go from "Dreamin About U" to "Freaks on this Side" you can see what I mean. | |
