The same guy who holds the n°16 spot in the Billboard 200. When was the last time prince held the n°16 spot? "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

Too bad it's only available from MS. Imagine where it would be if it was available in a decent format...

Damn, some of you guys are negative 24/7.
Granted, this isn't earth shattering, but it is positive. I said it before, and I'll say it again:

Yep. It's cool in an afterglow sort of way.

How is this chart calculated?
I mean, NPGMC could tell Billboard anything, right? Xperience the Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com/

How is this chart calculated?
I mean, NPGMC could tell Billboard anything, right? They survey the download services to compile the chart. NPGMC isn't providing downloads for N.E.W.S., so they aren't providing numbers. There's a note in fine print at the bottom of the chart explaining how it works. I think N.E.W.S. is only available through MSN.com as a download, so that's the only place the numbers are coming from. If it were available on ITMS (or any other service or in any form other than WM it would have sold a lot more. Digital music will never thrive using restrictive technologies.

Would folks here be happy if Prince were to come out with two albums a year for the next ten years and the content of these 20 albums to be among the most groundbreaking music of the times? Now what if the release of these albums was met with the worst reaction of all by the mainstream press, polls, and general public: silence? Would you all still like the music? What if Prince is destined to never grace the cover of Rolling Stone again? Never be on Mtv again? Do the polls matter to an artist? It would seem they matter to those who follow that artist.

I'm sure, this gonna make Prince's ego skyrocket.

Prince should do what he planned in 1993. He planned on releasing material on a major label and material on his own independant level. So, we fans, could keep up with his output like he wanted us to. Now we're lucky if we get one album a year. Oh and it would be nice to release those "1,000 songs ready to be released" from the vault as well.

prince should do wathever he likes..but do it WELL!!!
I don't care if i will have to download it, but it, order it via mail..but i PRETEND a good album, i mean one with genius impronta of the '80 matured and elaborated trough the years..i don't want athor disguting raimbow news albums..if that's his future, he should take an example on cat stevens and retire at playng for god..and larry graham.
