all songs were cut in half (or less!) except * which were
played in full or almost full. icnttpoym was actually only
a verse and chorus but then broke off into a long,
improvisational guitar solo that was the evening's musical
highlight...amazing guitar work.

najee played far too many long, boring solos. he is a
horrible addition to the band with his kenny g. style of
playing. prince seemed to spotlight him a lot and
practically begged us for approval once or twice. najee
may have been spotlighted a lot but all eyes were on
prince...always.

blackwell and rhonda were great, both were well-received.
geneva was okay but the cheese factor was a little high at
some points...the dancing stuff works better in arenas
rather than small clubs like this. keyboardists were fine,
prince did not spotlight them too much.

darling nikki and the beautiful ones seemed to be crowd
favotites. as were let's go crazy, kiss, the intro songs,
and scandalous. great crowd, good energy.
