Prince was the best. Of course this was my first show since i am still a teen, but it spoiled me. Now I’ll have to attend every show I can. I’ll do my best to give you a quick overview of the night in St. Louis. Forgive me if I don’t include everything because I’m still VERY excited.


The will call window ticket system was a hassle but yet the whole time you could hear the man sound checking which made it more enjoyable. Once in we sit for quite a while and it was great to see all the people with their purple and Prince clothes. It felt like one large family! The show started around 9:00 with a very funky megamix that was loud and thumpin. I already began to get goosebumps. Then when the man came on stage tears came to my eyes, your right I said it, I had tears. He started off very funky with a lot of fast upbeat songs (sorry if I don’t have the complete setlist but I was too busy being funky). The band was awesome. The drummer, Blackwell, is one of the best I know of. He played while brushing his teeth, now that’s talent! Rhonda and the rest of the band members were tight as well. And as far as Najee goes, he was awesome. Ive been hearing a lot of people dissing him but the man has skills so let him blow! Geneva was great. As well as being very attractive she knew how to move and was very limber. I especially love the Darling Nikki skit when she wore a ‘naughty school girl’ outfit!! There were to many highlights for me to go through in this message but one major one was that Prince brought a girl onstage and sung Scandolous to hear. It was very fun. Prince had a great time all night while he laughed and talked with the crowd. Its great to see the old Prince back. So all of you who have been dissing him as of late need to step off. The man is in tip top shape and will only get better!!



I didn’t hear the God speech that other post say hes been giving. He did mention it briefly but that was it. He came out in a “hairy jacket” and asked if we wore fur, ate chicken, and so on. Kinda a animal rights thing. I enjoyed that since I practice the same belief! He ended also w/ a very positive message when he said. Don’t do drugs, don’t do alcohol, and some other things. If im wrong about this because it was hard to understand please fill free to correct me.



In closing if ANYONE ever wants to go to a concert in another city ill be happy to split everything 50/50 just as long as I continue to see the man!! And one last comment that I’d like to say to Prince-----“Thank You”
