The Rapids were Grand In Upper Michigan this Past Week(End) literally!, after
an hour and a half waite at the Grand Rapids show, Prince and The NPG took
stage; Opening w/ various Princely Snippets, then the Countdown began, Prince
appeared on stage in an all Blk Outfit, with silky Blk Bouncin Funky Hair
(hahaha),Prince and The Band ripped right through "Uptown","Controversy"&
"Mutiny", The Crowd was Excited and full of Positive NRG for the Man ,who
sang his Heart out on Hits Like "Purple Rain" and "Nothing Compares 2 U",
Prince and Geneva danced routines very playful in the style of he and Cat
back in 88" during the LoveSexy shows...The Drummer (John Blackwell) was on
Point and not to mention Mr. Hayes at the Organ/Keys dancing and snapping his
fingers to the Jazzy sounds of "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker", Prince
Performed for what it seemed almost 3hour.s, Needless to say It was a Concert
packed full of The Prince Hits Collection and I really InJoy'd Myself, The
Highlight for me was when Prince Played "Come On" and Invited New Power Fams
on stage and he later called up some "Papi Chulo" dressed in an all white
Jumpsuite and he Danced his "Culo" off ...Look for him as the New Dancer on
The NPG World Tour Next Year (Just kidding) thou I think Prince Enjoyed his
Moves as mush as the Audience did...Of Course followed the after Party at The
Orbit Room, but we had to make that trip back to Detroit City which was an awful 3hour drive, due to the Snow Storm...But "Thank U's" to ShellyD-for
hosting a great Prince Party back in Flint, Friend,Greatest Romance(whom need
to make me a Princely Cd:O),Richard,Pluv and Linda ...I Love you guys and
Hope you had a safe trip back...We had a Blast!!!!
