As posted earlier this week, Atlanta radio station 104.1 "premiered" the new
Prince/Angie Stone duet, "U Make My Sun Shine" Thursday night. Although
already played in Detroit (as referred to at NPGOnlineLTD.com), it was the
first airing in Atlanta. Here is what I can tell you about it:



Since the radio station is KISS 104.1, they played, you guessed it, "Kiss,"
followed by the new track. It is definitely old school Prince. Prince
leads, and Angie picks up half way through. At the end of the song, Morris
Hayes has a short keyboard solo...Morris always adds that feeling of being in
church! The song has a gospel feel to it. Prince's voice sounds pretty
good, it reminded me of "An Honest Man," on the Crystal Ball set.



All in all, it is a nice track to play for your girl while drinking a glass
of wine! And I can speak for all Prince Fams in Atlanta, "Billy Sparks,
bring the Hit and Run tour to Atlanta SOON!"
