NEWS shipments delayed Just got this email from NPG Music Club; sounds familiar.
Hello from the NPG Music Club Official Store, We would like to apologize for the delay in shipping out your N.E.W.S. CD. Due to overwhelming demand and some unexpected delays, we were not able to ship June 25th as originally planned. We have the first batch of CDs going out Friday, June 27th. We will have an even larger batch shipping early next week. Once we charge your card, you will be getting your order shipped within 24 hours. If you do not get your CD in this batch of shipments, you will be getting your CD shipped around mid-July, when the next batch of CDs are completed and sent from the manufacturer. Rest assured, you will still be getting your CD before it is available in stores or to the rest of the public. If you have not gotten an email letting you know your card was charged by next Wednesday, this means you were not sent your order in this first wave and will be getting it in the next wave. Please bear with us as we deal with these back orders. We are doing everything possible to get you your CD as quickly as possible. The NPGMC should have informed us immediately that the cd would also be available in the shops very soon. Then they could have saved the trouble of sending out all those cd's.

Planning: starting bad (again) !!! njoy In an ideal world, nothing goes wrong, and no delays occur. Yes, it is true that you ordered a product for a certain date and it is now delayed. This is unfortunate. However, NPGMC scores big points in my book for being accountable and keeping the lines of communication open. No person, or business is perfect, and we as consumers are much more forgiving just as long as we are informed about the progress of our product. Yeah I got the confirmation email. So I presume if you were one of the first to order then you will get it in the first shipment. ----------------------------------------------

I WAS ONE OF THE LAST TO ORDER , (2 DAYS BEFORE THE SHIPPING DATE) I WAS SENT AN EMAIL TODAY WITH A CONFIRMATION # AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD SHIP PROMPTLY

I wish Prince and his club the best, but I think everyone should cancel thier order. NPGMC/NewFunk/Prince have had such poor business practices, they deserve a zero-tolerance policy.
After all the crap they got (deservedly so) they STILL DELAY shipment??? What in the world is going on over there!? I cannot comprehend how something could be run so poorly. | |
