Sheila E & Alex Acuna's clinic at Hermes Music Store last night was great!


With a crowd of nearly 1,000 attendees the place was packed. Sheila and Alex took to the stage at 7:17, did a short introduction, and at started jammin' on the bongos.
Both artists did a fantastic run through playing on several instruments including timbales, percussion, snare drums, cowbells, a pair of Peruvian cajones, and a the climax - a battle on the drums!


Sheila E. kicked ASS on her DW drum set! Alex was great, but Sheila took to a higher level! The room was energized! With a 24 minute break (Sheila wanted to sell more raffle tickets)
they raffling a set of Sheila's drums she said she designed - The Sheila E. Players set. All proceeds went to her Little Angel Bunnies charity.)


The clinic/show was over at 9:08. Several items were raffled off, although it was only mentioned that the $2 raffle tix were for her drum set.


Afterwards, an autograph session was held as well as Sheila's and Alex's new CDs were being sold. Sheila's new disc is entitled "The E Train" and Alex's is "Sounds of the Millennium".


A great evening was had by all.
