Before the concert Morris Hayes walked the main floor basically unnoticed wearing a long
black coat and glasses. The concert was scheduled 2 start at 8:00p.m., although it kicked off
at 9:05 p.m. That wasn't bad at all and the crowd was so excited and the anticipation could b
heard and felt.



Concert opened with samples of "Don't worry I won't hurt U, I only want U 2 have some fun. My name is Prince.
Hold on2 your wigs. Sexy mother. 5,4,3,2,1.,"



Prince appeared wearing a long black top with white cuffs and piping around the collar,black pants,white boots,
gold necklace, and possible peace sign medallions on the cuffs.



UPTOWN was the first song, followed by CONTROVERSY with Geneva holding up a newspaper. This led into MUTINY with
Najee performing a sax solo, and Prince on keyboards.



CREAM-Prince thrusts his hips during this song.



LITTLE RED CORVETTE-Prince picked up the newspaper, looked at it and threw it down. He then danced with
Geneva, and sat in an elegant large chair flirting with Geneva. After the flirting he stood up and then did 6 splits.
Geneva then danced with the chair and I must say she is very limber. LOL Wow-at one point she was
spread eagle on top of the chair. U would have 2 c it 2 beleive it.



I WANNA BE YOUR LOVER



SEXY DANCER-Prince solos on keyboards as Geneva dances.



HOUSEQUAKE-Najee solos while Geneva and Prince dance 2gether,similar to that of the
dance with Cat and Prince from S.O.T.T. Genevas dancing compliments Prince well.
At one point Prince layed down on the speaker. John had a fantastic drum solo.



Prince said, "How we doin', we gonna take r time 2night." With that said THE BALLAD
OF DOROTHY PARKER began. During the song Prince played keyboards and sang "Let me get a pizza.
Dorothy Parker she was cool." This song allowed Najee 2 perform a flute solo, and a sax solo, Rohnda
and John also performed solos. The lighting during this song created a beautiful rainbow effect.



Prince then said, "Turn the lights on. Ah, U all got dressed up 2 night, I might have 2 go home and change." This
opened in2 I COULD NEVER TAKE THE PLACE OF YOUR MAN. During this song Prince stood on a speaker and swayed his hips
and then strolled casually. Then Najee performed a sax solo, a smooth jazz feel. It made U feel like he was making love
2 the sax and at one point he held a high note 4 a long time (like a climax). Very impressive.



DO ME BABY-Kip was crooning and playing keyboards. This man was hot and working the crowd. The crowd loved him.
Prince appeared in his second outfit-long red top with white cuffs and collar opened in2 a v-neck mid way 2 the chest,
red boots, NPG necklace holding a red scarf. DO ME BABY went in2 SCANDALOUS.



DIAMOND AND PEARLS was next as Geneva danced barfoot in the background. THE BEAUTIFUL ONES followed with Prince on keyboards.
At one point there was an interesting dance move where Prince wrapped his left leg around Genevas waist.



NOTHING COMPARES 2 U-Najee sax solo. Prince picked up some roses that were thrown on2 the stage.



LET'S GO CRAZY-Prince appears in a third outfit. He wore a long white shirt,black pants, black hat with "Moneyapolis" in white.



TAKE ME WITH U-RASPBERRY BERET



DARLING NIKKI-During this song Geneva was wearing a short plaid skirt which whe placed over
Prince's face. LOL Near the end of the song he recreated the thrusts 2 the floor as in the Purple Rain movie.



WHEN DOVES CRY when in2 COMPUTER BLUE INTRO, then Najee performed a sax solo and the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
Prince wiped Najee's head with a towel, Najee was working it.



PURPLE RAIN-One of my favorites in concert. Prince said, " I only wnat 2 b some kind of friend. Your friendship
is UNCONDITIONAL. Time 2 reach out 4 something new. I'm not talking about the president, I'm talking about GOD. We alright?
The Bible says do not put your faith in man. Do U love GOD? Would U put your faith in GOD? UNIVERSAL LOVE, we got 2 get back 2
UNIVERSAL LOVE." By the end of the song he looked so peaceful. He had put alot of emotion in2 this.
He then said, "Thank U so much. U got me worked up now. UNIVERSAL LOVE is THE TRUTH. Close study of the Bible shows that every
man that has tried to rule has failed."



WHEN WILL WE BE PAID-Prince introduced this song and said his dear sister Mavis gave him this.
He then said "We ain't trying 2 step on no ones feet. Not a revolution, an evolution."
Prine spoke about local vs national radio programming. How radio should support local artists, maybe
instead of Britney Spears and Eminem(spelling?). He was not trying 2 disrespect either, just proving a point.
Then he said, "I can't get on the radio cause I don't fit on the radio." The crowd laughed and then was quiet.



SHE'S ALWAYS IN MY HAIR



U GOT THE LOOK WITH A fantastic guitar solo.



POP LIFE and FACE DOWN LOOPS-Prince tells Geneva 2 pick some people 2 dance on stage.



KISS begins and Doug E. Fresh appeared and let if flow.



Then George Clinton appeared wearing a purple cape with purple and white collar.
George chanted "We want the funk." Yes, he was funky.



GETT OFF



COME ON-Prince sang and Doug joined in with "Ohio in the house" and did a beat box.



PUSH IT UP-Prince and Doug.



The concert was near completion with these final words,
"GOD is love, UNIVERSAL LOVE. Vote 4 GOD next time there won't b
any confusion." The concert finished at 11:15 p.m.



The sound was PERFECT. The band was PERFECT. Prince did NOT refer 2 this
concert as a rehearsal. I believe he must have been very pleased last night.
If U have a chance 2 c the Hit & Run tour, it is a must.



Thank U Prince 4 another beautiful experience.



There was an after party held at Wish night club. The band members
as well as Prince appeared. There was no performance. I will also say that
the flyers that were distributed listed this on the bottom so no one would
b expecting a performance. The club was ok, but way 2 small 4 the amount of people that
showed. Capacity is something like 550 people.



The experience finally ended at 2:30 a.m. Another great night in the here and now.
