Fourth report on Cleveland concert

Prince Rocked The House in Cleveland Last Night!

OK - Complaints first:

1) the show was supposed to start at 8, but started at 9:10

2) I like a thunping bass as much as the next person, but damn! The bass was drowning out the microphones in places.

With that out of the way....
The man has not lost a thing! Anyone who says differently is a liar or a hater.
The set was pretty much the same as in Philly, except Doug E Fresh was there, so they sang Push It Up and Doug's old rap hit (can't think of the name). The crowd pretty much took over singing that for Doug though - Prince got a big chuckle out of that.

Also, George Clinton was in the house. His Cleveland show was originally scheduled for the 12th - which made for rumors of a great after party - but was rescheduled for the 9th. I won't waste any more typing on the old freak, except that he got his freak on with some hootchie from the audience.

Najee was excellent, as always. I can't understand why people would say he played too much. He didn't play anymore than Atlanta and Eric played in the past.
Even the roadies were cool - I'm not just saying that because I got one of the towels that Prince didn't throw out to the crowd AND one of his guitar picks!

Oh yeah - Geneva was ok too. I really liked the Brittey Spears-like costume on Darin' Nicky.
