I went to the Philly show last night and it was entertaining. Mutiny, When will we be paid, Scandalous and When Will we be paid were highlights. It was a totally hits show minus Come on and When will we be paid. (Come on is a hit with me though). There were a couple mistakes, but that is acceptible. On the lets go crazy solo at the end it came out off Key for a second and Prince had this funny look like oops on his face, but it was all good, things like that happen when you are working out the kinks. All I have to say about the Band is it's Great. John Blackwell is AMAZING. I can't wait to hear new studio work.



This tour was a rehersal, and it had that feel. I would have LOVED to hear songs from the last 5-7 years. Or even some Rave material, or more new songs that I haven't heard. Most people that I talked to at the show do not want to hear just hits, but want to hear what his creative mind has been working on. Hopefully we will get that the next time he hits Philly. 2/3 new 1/3 old would be a perfect mix.



On a side note mad, props for Najee. After the show, he came back on stage, and it was my friends Birthday. He played happy birthday for her. A very nice gesture.
