Wanted to give a smell to ya-all bout the Philly show...no joking...what a weekender.



4am.. just made it back from the Philly show. I caught the Fairfax show on friday. The set list remained pretty much the same (from what I can remember off the top of my head), cept 'Come On' was added to the encore, some of the guys from Boys2Men sang a few lines to Motown Philly during Come On. Prince and the NPG were soundchecking around 6, lot like the Fairfax show, I like this, to be able to get a little listen to the soundcheck.



Chatting with someone who made it to the show from Florida. Prince and the Make a Wish Foundation flew this young lady to the Philly, PA show! All expenses paid. She got to meet Prince backstage before the show and was invited to the Afterparty:) Prince was talking to a lotta people in radio before the show about the current state of the music industry. He also gave a speech about this during the show (about the same time he gave the speech about Tiger Woods and BET and all that stuff at Fairfax), talked about why he was not getting played on radio anymore etc..the majors, the truth..so on. I wish I had text of the exact things he said it was loud and clear, Kept repeating he was not preaching, by the way he said he wanted to make the 'When Do We get Paid' song available via cd, no middle men. I bet you he will get paid when he does!



The show was tighter than the Fairfax show, the music, dancing, lighting all excellent. Just go to the shows, let your mind be free and Go Crazy.



Sure enough the afterparty was at Brave New World. No performance was planned according to the crew...tho' Mr Hayes said give him an instrument and he would play it! HAHA-- maybe we should all bring the band some guitars at the aftershow and get a 2 for One. I love it how the crew/band act as tho' they do not know where they will be next.. its pretty funny. Askem where to next?, they will say the next town down the road.. still they know. We know!



Cameras were set up, the show in Philly was recorded....mind me for the spelling its 5 am!!!...the "Prince Hit 'n Run" shirts were all gone..limited/printing up more.
