It was announced over the past 15 hours by two Detroit-area radio
stations that Prince has booked the State Theatre for a gig on Tuesday,
Nov. 14. ...



News is sketchy as of this email, and no mention of the concert on
Ticketmaster or Pollstar or the Freep Online (Detroit Free Press) has
been posted. One radio station, I'm pretty sure it was 93.1 FM WDRQ,
said Tuesday for people to start watching the streets. The goal - to
spot an unusual vehicle in Detroit Metro to win tickets to the concert.

Then WGRV 105.1 FM, a classic soul party beats station, played the old
version of 1999 at the top of the 8am hour Wednesday morning. Afterwards
the disc jockeys said that after staying up for most of the night
waiting for the US election results they will have no problem staying up
to see Prince at the State Theatre. ...



I'm trying to get more information on ticket prices, start time, etc.
Hopefully I will get news later Wednesday afternoon. ...

For what it's worth, Macy Gray plays the State in Detroit on Monday,
Nov. 13, while Ani DiFranco headlines the Cleveland Music Hall on the
same night. Hmmm. ...
